January Community Update
We are excited to share the ongoing progress of our new hospital construction. The structural steel work is now complete. Currently, over 50 tradesmen are onsite, diligently working on electrical, HVAC, sprinker systems, and framing. The interior priority wall framing in Area A is finished and has begun in Area B.
Upcoming Construction Activities:
- Exterior Framing and Sheathing will be completed in Areas A & B and will start in Areas C & D.
- Interior Priority Wall Framing will continue in Area B and begin in Areas C & D.
- Precast Joint Sealants will be applied.
- Lightweight Concrete Mechanical Pads on the roof will be finsihed in all areas.
- MEP Overhead Installation will be completed in Areas A & B and wll start in Areas C & D.
- Detention Pond Work will continue as weather permits.
What Will The New Facility Offer?
The new hopsital will significantly enhance the range of services available at HCCH, including:
- Larger operating rooms for expanded surgical services for general and orthopedic surgeries
- Additional treatment rooms in the outpatient speicalty clinic to accomodate more specialists each day
- Larger, private inpatient rooms and bathrooms, increasing from the current 120 square feet to 262 square feet, not including the bathroom
- Dining area open for community use that will seat up to 68 people, with an additional outdoor seating area
- Multiple meeting rooms for increased community education opportunities
- And much more!
Additionally, all services, including MRI, Therapy Services, and Senior Life Solutions, will be conveniently located within the hospital, ensuring comprehensive care under one roof.
