Docs Who Care Celebrates 20-Year Partnership with Harrison County Community Hospital

Docs Who Care (DWC) hosted a celebratory breakfast reception at Harrison County Community Hospital (HCCH) on Tuesday, July 23rd. This event marked the 20th anniversary of an essential partnership dedicated to providing quality healthcare to the Bethany community.

“Rural hospitals have small staff and limited abilities to do many of the tasks Docs Who Care manages for us in our Emergency Department,” stated Tina Gillespie, CEO of HCCH. ” Not only have they provided consistent, reliable services, but their physicians took time to connect with our patients and their families personally. The DWC providers have become known by name in our community. They work well with our local team of physicians and nurses, and without DWC, we couldn’t have sustained adequate coverage in our ED.”

In recognition of this milestone and as a token of appreciation, Docs Who Care presented a financial gift of $10,000 in support of HCCH’s new hospital facility.

Docs Who Care partnered with rural hospitals to deliver high-quality healthcare services, including staffing for emergency departments, inpatient care, and clinic work. Their mission was to support understaffed, rural communities and prevent burnout among local hospital medical staff.

“We are proud to celebrate two decades of collaboration with Harrison County Community Hospital,” said Graham Morsch, CEO of Docs Who Care. ” Our commitment to providing exceptional healthcare to rural communities remains steadfast, and we look forward to many more years of partnership with HCCH and the Bethany community.”
