Harrison County Community Hospital has officially signed a construction contract with MW Builders of Lenexa, KS, making a significant step forward in developing the new facility. A groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, April 4, at 4 PM at the location of the new hospital on 39th Street.

The initial steps will involve dirt work to prepare the site for the new hospital’s foundation. Additionally, work will begin on redeveloping 39th Street to accommodate the new facility footprint.
