HCCH Joins Show-Me High Value Network

Harrison County Community Hospital is proud to be a founding member of the Show-Me High Value Network, a new collaboration of 23 local and independent Missouri hospitals working together to strengthen rural health care.

The partnership gives HCCH opportunities to collaborate with peer hospitals on quality improvement, care coordination, data sharing, value-based care and operational best practices. The network also can help participating hospitals build scale and pursue efficiencies while remaining independent.

For our patients and community, the most important point is that HCCH remains locally governed. This is not a sale or merger. Our Board and local leaders will continue to make decisions based on the needs of the people we serve.

The network is built around a clinically integrated network serving approximately 1.8 million patients across participating hospitals. Clinical representatives and quality leaders from member organizations will help guide quality measures, care coordination and a shared clinical data platform.

“Joining the Show-Me High Value Network allows us to collaborate with other independent rural hospitals that share our commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care,” said Tina Gillespie, CEO of Harrison County Community Hospital. “This partnership gives us access to valuable resources, data, and best practices while ensuring that decisions about the care we provide remain local and focused on the needs of our communities.”

By working with other independent hospitals that share our commitment to rural Missouri, HCCH can learn, improve and invest more effectively while keeping high-quality care close to home.
