HCCH Auxiliary and Foundation Award Health Care Career Scholarships to Harrison County Seniors

Harrison County Community Hospital Auxiliary and Foundation are accepting applications for $1,000 scholarships to assist students who are planning to enter a health-related field. High school seniors in Harrison County schools are eligible to apply for the one-time funding opportunity.

Application forms are available from guidance counselors in Harrison County or online at www.hcchospital.org.

By operating the hospital gift shop, Auxiliary volunteers are able to invest profits into their community hospital in many ways, including supporting the next generation of health care workers.

The HCCH Foundation’s Howard & Leah Trullinger Scholarship Fund, which was established by the late Trullinger’s, also supports the educational needs of current and future health care workers.

The two scholarships use a single application, and the submission deadline is April 7, 2023.
