Harrison County Community Hospital’s 15th Annual Miles for Miles Cancer Walk Registration Now Open

Join us on Friday, October 18, 2024, for the 15th Annual Miles for Miles Cancer Walk hosted by the Harrison County Community Hospital Foundation.

The walk will start at the hospital, 2600 Miller Street, Bethany. Check-in begins at 4:30 PM, and the event kicks off at 5:00 PM. It features a brief message from the Harrison County Cancer Transportation Fund. The walkers will then proceed on a non-timed course along 39th Street, ending at the South Harrison High School Football Stadium in time for the South Harrison Pink Out game against the Polo Panthers.

This annual event supports the Harrison County Cancer Transportation Fund, which offers financial assistance to Harrison County residents diagnosed with cancer who need to travel for medical appointments.

The registration fee is $20, which includes a complimentary T-shirt. Additionally, participants can honor loved ones by adding their names to signs along the route for $5 per name. These can commemorate those currently battling cancer, those who have overcome it, and those we have lost. The number of names you can submit is not limited.
